Last night was such a pretty night we decided to take a walk. Lucky for you we took the camera.

In case you can’t tell, this photo was taken from the same spot as the previous picture 12 hours later; that’s smoke, not fog. KSKO reports over 500,000 acres burning. Bonnie was supposed to fly out to Anchorage today, but the airplanes couldn’t see the runway to land. Maybe tomorrow, ’cause tomorrow’s another day.

  1. Hi, Bonnie! Marla sent me your blog address. I’m so excited for this “to be continued” Alaska adventure you are having! I will always love Alaska. It gets into your blood, I think. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, that I’m thinking of you, and wishing you a fantastic experience. I’ll enjoy coming here to find out the latest news. Hugs, Lauretta

  2. Well, well….I am putting it all together….you have
moved to Alaska for a temporary time? …and you
are both teaching while there. ? Correct?
I’ll have to look on a map to see exactly where you
are at. May you have a most wonderful excellent
    adventure!!!! -Janelle J.

  3. Brings me back to 1981-3!
