It doesn’t look the same around here any more. Today the temperatures are in the 60’s again, but things have changed.
On Friday we took another all-school outing. This time we walked up river. The kids (and staff) had a great time looking for agates, finding ladybugs, and throwing rocks and sticks in the river. A little fox must have wondered what was going on and came down to the beach to check us out. It was only about 3 feet from us, then ran back to the brush and after we’d passed by went to the river for a drink. On the walk, Margie showed us where the village cemetery was located on the bluff, so today we walked up there.
It was a beautiful, peaceful spot overlooking the river.
