Warnings for Upper Kobuk

Winter weather advisory remains in effect…  snow will continue….  accumulation…  winds will cause poor visibility….  precautionary/preparedness actions:  use caution when traveling….

It was stormy here this past week, and after a little lull, it’s cranking up again.

We arrived at school and thought Robert was joking when he said school was canceled.

The window ledge in Hans’ classroom is at least 10 feet off the ground. About noon he started filming the growing snowdrift. Here’s a little time lapse of 6 hours worth of drifting snow.

The short walk between home and school…

100% chance of snow for tonight.  Any bets on school tomorrow?

  1. Looks like you might need to tie a rope between your house and the school.

  2. LOTS of snow here in the Golden Heart City too..made it back from camp on Saturday

  3. Wow! I thought we had it bad!! Yesterday and today we had 11-17 inches of snow!! We made it to Rochester and back for therapy on my arm. Carl was glad to be driving the pick up truck. There were cars and trucks in the ditch along the way. They say only 31 days until spring!! Hang in there!! Doreen
